Sep. 9th, 2024 04:13 pmMy BP was high today, so they couldn't give me an infusion. I can't check it at home thanks to something being wrong with my talking BP meter.Ugh. Double ugh.
That said, while I was waiting, futilely it turns out, for my blood pressure to relax, I spent time processing something. I got into a close conversation with my higher power, and she pointed out to me that my being independent (it's less laden with societal judgments than single) is not related to my uniqueness and ability to impress others. Correlation doesn't equal causation, and I've been forgetting it in this situation.
Still, when does a "dry spell" turn into the norm? There has to be a tipping point in there.
