nyykiPulled out another 4.0. So far, I haven't gotten anything less than an A on any of the undergraduate classes I've taken. I know it will happen, but for now, it hasn't, and I'm quite glad of that.
Even though I had a theory test to take today for the department, I still managed to knock out another song from the list today. This one, Designs, has plagued me for a long time. I wrote it back in 1982, and I've tried about three different versions for it, all of which didn't gel. Today I decided to look in another direction, and it came out Techno -- more accurately, Drum and Bass, since it's so fast. (quarter note equals 156BPM) It still needs the "trippy Psychedelic guitar solo," but other than that, I'm pleased with where it wound up. It's a song about an artist who paints pictures that invoke hallucinogenic and psychedelic experiences in those who view them. However, he can't see this in his own paintings, so he's excluded from the experience. All who view the paintings walk away changed except for him.
Tomorrow I keep at it, plus I have some preparations to make for the holiday party I'm hosting on the 27th -- if you haven't gotten the invite yet, let me know in a reply or private email and I'll send on the goods.
