Some fancy work by a friend of mine could very well find me in a writing job real soon, if the Contracting company can let the clue fairy out of the closet they locked it in.

I interact through words. Lyrics, short stories, a couple of fantasy novels, (unsold) and even some RPG supplements. I gain power from this -- it could be said that this feeds my soul.

This will be a good thing. a Very good thing.

I went from being an administrative assistant to being a Tech Writer. The first company to hire me as a tech writer paid me on the LOW end of the scale (32K), but once I had experience as a tech writer, I was able to move into much higher-paying jobs.

Tech writing has its fair share of frustrations, but so far, it is the best job I've found. (Other than editing, but editing jobs are few and far between.)

Thanks. I know I need a career change after working for the Evil Broadband Company (Yes, TIAFI, Inc.) if, for no other reason, its the only way I can properly purge their stupidity from my mind.
