Shedding the Spikes
Jun. 13th, 2001 10:15 amI've been thinking a lot, and I've come to the realization that spiky is not a good word for me.
Spiky implies a porcupine, a cactus, or a punker's hair. There is a sharpness implied that has the potential to hurt if you get too close.
That really is not my vibe. I'm flexible to an extent, but very much unyielding past a certain point. (This thing called boundaries -- if you haven't tried them, give em a shot -- they beat walls hands down.)
I really don't have a label for it. But who needs labels anyway?
