Been busy.
The roommate is bailing, so I'm looking for another one. I need to find someone in the Ft Worth Area with a high tolerance for weirdness who can commit to finishing a lease. And of course, I need to get the Ex-roommate's stuff out of the way.
I've been seeing the therapist, and I've decided I'm going to go for it.
The UTA Trombone Choir will play my arrangement of the Jazz standard "Misty" on their fall performance. I wrote it specifically to take advantage of the trombone's sound and playing technique, and it seems to have worked well. I'm pleased.
Money is not going to be a real issue, though I do need the soon to be ex-roommate to make with the agreed to half of the bills to take some presure off the bank account.
Other than that, nothing much to report. I am still blessedly single, with strong hopes that this situation will continue for at least 3 more years so that I don't have the distraction while getting my degree and re-ordering/transitioning my life. This is rough, as I have gotten the feeling that I will be tested on my resolve on the relationship front sometime soon. The last thing I need right now is a relationship, and the last thing someone else needs right now is me in my current mindset. All in all, fix a couple of minor things and I'll be content.
