Something Ugly
Dec. 2nd, 2002 10:32 amFor some time now, I've been the convienent scapegoat for anything bad that happens to a particular crowd of people. This extends to them being quite hypocritical at Pagan Pride Day as they spouted a message of unity and also went out of their way to ignore me. It was pretty obvious.
I have discovered that one of the reasons they are doing this is because they believe I am still working against them. SPecifically, they think I am responsible for the Geocities website that is still up and still targeting them.
I've consulted on this, and I have been advised that I can take legal action against the person or persons behind that site since I am now getting fallout from their actions. This will involve entering into a cease and desist order with the folks in the other group delivered to Yahoo Geocities asking for compliance and for the site to be removed during the pending case.
I'm seriously considering taking this action after the beginning of the year. The site is full of broken links and the email address on it doesn't work, so I doubt Geocities would put up much of a fuss -- they'd probably just nuke it and be done with it.
We'll seewhat happens, assuming I can even get a member of the "other group" to discuss it with me.
