Goodies

The Kindred met last night.

In the white elephant gift exchange, I got a bag containing some trim, a box of chocolates, and a copy of Batman Begtins. I stole it from someone else, as that makes the game fun.

For actual gifts, I got a "garden in a bag" from one of the members. it contains dirt, lavender seeds, and some nutrients, and you just water it and it'll grow in the bag. I also got a knit pouch and a key (still pondering that) and an ornament.

The good gifts came from my friend J, who always gives neat stuff. She found me a Loki pendant that feels really cool and people say is neat, and it came in a "foxbox". This is asmall porcelain fox container with the lid as the fox's head. (he looks and feels like a curled up fox sleeping.) On his forehead is a painted bunch of grapes. He feels really cool, and he's sitting by my bed holding my jewelry and necklaces.

My gifts were well recieved. The cats hanging on the Thor's hammers went over very well, and the bracelet I gave a kindred brother he loved. The Thor's hammer made of skulls and th scarab also got good response. In fact, I seemed to hit the mark well with this group this year.

Now, I have the family things to do next weekend. I'll be done by around one on Sunday at the latest. Then, I can search for friends to hang with.

So far, no plans for the New Year. I'd love to do something, but that depends on what friends schedule.
