Holiday Report
Dec. 26th, 2007 09:16 amSo, I'm back from doing family things. Actually I was back around 2 yesterday, but I was dealing with other things.
My family is pretty good with the loot. I got several gift cards, a nice set of Air Bake cookie sheets, a new Circulon pot, a couple of Miles Davis CD's, lots of miscellaneous kitchen gadgets and things, and something I've been lusting after for ten years, a Kitchen Aid mixer. I are highly pleased about that.
Guardian got a lot of running and playing time with other dogs. my stepmom's mother brought her dog, Heidi, over, (This, like the seventh or eighth dog she's had named Heidi) and she and Gaurdian spent all of Christmas Eve running around in the yard like crazed lunatics. When he finally came in, I told him "Down" and he collapsed at my feet. Then yesterday he got to run around with my dad's dog Lucky. He's had lots of big dog time and he seems happy for it.
Today we'll hear about the house. If the news is good, then the flurry of activity starts, as I start packing like crazy to get everything packed away, and I'll have to call my dad and get the move stuff set up too. I'm really looking forward to this move. I'm tired of Arlington, tired of the limbo, and tired of the lack of options for getting around. Up there we'll have more roommates, and more freedom for me. This will be very good.
