One more week of Summer II. I'm deeply not liking this class, and I can't wait 'till it's overski. I'll be lucky to sweat out an A in the lecture portion, though since it's an undergrad class it supposedly doesn't matter. However, since I have all A's for all undergrad classes at this university, it's something of a matter of honor.

We finally got the couches for the living room. Hooray. A long leather sofa, 90 inches long, and two oversized recliners. All we need in there now is a floor rug and a big screen TV and the room will be finished. I suspect J will get home and immediately want to start setting up the room.

We started the gaming stuff last night. We've had serious problems finding enough players, but a high school buddy of mine, Ursus, showed up with his sixteen year old son and that gave us five players. We did chargen last night. It amazes me how much of this stuff I remember from a game system I last played in 1989 and that I haven't played actively since the early 80's. (Yes, we're playing First Edition AD&D, the really old stuff) Chargen is mostly done, so we should probably start talking about playing sometime this week. Should be a blast. I need to unearth my dice.

Now that furniture is in the living room, the housewarming party is going to happen soon. DFW peeps, be advised. Should be a lot of fun.
