I just finished listening to the current 11 novels in the Dresden Files series. (I don't have access to the novelette or short stories yet)

Interesting. Jim Butcher has built a rather complex world, and he takes his time releasing the data to us.

The last one, Turncoat, telegraphed the bad guy to me rather early on, but probably didn't to most people. I now have several questions about things going on in the universe, some of which I may send to the author. (Who is the current Black Staff, for example)

I had a mix of versions, some of which used TExt Aloud to read the files into MP3's and some with the rather fun reading by James Marsters. If you're going to get these on audio, I strongly recommend the ones Marsters does, as he voices the characters well. The only annoying one is Toot Toot, who is slightly hard to understand because he does that voice with a full nasal stop. If you're a fan of the series and have read all of the novels don't hesitate to respond to this post, as I'd like to discuss it more. Be warned, though, I won't hesitate to discuss things that might be spoilers for people who haven't finished the novels. Since the series is progressive, things that happen earlier definitely influence things later on.

Now I'm like all the other Dresden Files fans, waiting for the next one to come out next year.
