Back From the Doctor
Jun. 21st, 2011 04:47 pmNothing earth shattering to report.
He's setting up two referrals. First, DART requires an opthamologist report and signature and such for a paratransit ID, so I have to have that done. Second, the moles growing on my back itch to high heaven, and there's this spot on my arm that is kind of strange as well, so he's sending me to a dDermattologist to get that looked out.
Blood pressure is a bit high, so I need to track down my talking sphigmomamometer to take my BP at home. it as 158/85 today, which is high, and I don't like that. It may just be a different generic of one of my meds that's doing it, though.
Legs looked good, no sign of edema, swelling, redness, or blisters, so the cellulitis is dormant for now.
The paperwork he filled out for my student loans got sent back because they've changed forms since then, so I handed those off to him, and he'll have it heading my way tomorrow.
And I'm down about ten pounds. I'd like to continue that trend if at all possible.
I like my doctor, but not enough to take half a day to go to Denton to visit him. I need to find a doctor closer to home so it doesn't eat half my day, and also half of my dad's in getting me there and back again. So I'm looking for a new doctor, preferably at Doctor's Hospital, Presbyterian, or Baylor.
