Request for Assistance

Okay, folks, I’m running up against my knowledge level. I’ve checked the Manage Circle page, and it mentions communities, feeds, and so on, but I’m not finding a good way to search up communities or enter feed data. I also need to know what I need to do to upload more icons. The traffic here is too low and I want to get more coming this way, and I also need to meet more people because I’m feeling way isolated. This online communication is all well and good, but my extroverted nature gains spoons from hearing people and also from being around people too – I generate spoons with social contact and lose them faster without it, and since I’m trapped inside my head for any visual content I want more socialization. I’m looking for communities relating to computer music, first edition AD&D, writing, how dogs are the most awesomeest of pets, how to get my wordpress site set up all the way, and science fiction news (it sucks that Scifi Wire took down its feeds), and also feeds to my favorite authors’ news pages. What I don’t want are tyrannical community owners, political ranting and raving pulpits or soapboxes, or places where people go to fight – I did war boards back in my BBS days, I’m done with that. Of special interest are discussions on MIDI (the musical data protocol, not a skirt length), electric guitar FX tricks, and writing and increasing creativity (I know, the idea of my creativity increasing might concern some of you); and all of this should be groups for the blind or VI. If you think of someone who would benefit from knowing me, send them my way and have them check out my journal. This site is fine for a personal journal, but it also does well as a way to get people talking to each other. Know that if I can I’ll return the favor.
