Good Samaritans

nyykiYesterday I had to go to the hospital for a doctor's appointment. unfortunately, the roommate was double booked. so, I was let out and had to fend for myself. the roommate did tell me what door to go to, and aimed me in the right direction.
the door was broken and locked, so I hit a dead end. a very nice lady with a Mexican accent helped me to the operational door, and then a woman who works with Dart Para-transit helped me to my floor and department. from there, one of the other patients helped me get around through all the rigamarole that is involved in getting an appointment filled at the hospital.
These three people really helped me a lot, and this is yet another situation that helps to reaffirm that there really good people in the world. I thanked all three of them, and made it clear how much I appreciated their help.
If this keeps up, it'll be hard to remain a cynic.
