Trillian Woes

nyykiTalk about taking a huge step backwards....
I prefer to use Trillian to handle my messaging accounts. i used it beforee I lost my sight, and I know it well enough to use it even if I can't see it.
I upgraded to Trillian 3.0 today, and that was a mistake of huge proportions. In fact, "upgraded" is about the most inaccurate tderm oone could use, at least from an accessability standpoint.
The new menus cannot be accedssed by a screen reader, at least, not with a mouse click over them. The menus also don't read, and you can't use arrow keys to find out what is going on. In short, the latest version is totally unusable by anyone who is blind.
This crap drives me nuts. It's not hard to program things so that Jaws can make heads or tails of it -- In fact, it's simply good programming technique to label things correctly. So it
's just laziness that keeps me from using the tool.
And to add insult to injury, when I reloaded the older version on my system it kiboshed all my settings and gave me some annoying XML errors which mean I'm going to have to fumble around to try to get my trillian contact list in the right place again. This crap drives me nuts.
