Reflections and thanks
Jan. 10th, 2005 02:59 pmIt's nice when you find small triumphs in life.
First off, I was going through my organ bench yesterday. (no jokes about me playing with my organ, I've heard all of them a thousand times...) and I found that some things are still in there from the prior owner, including the owners manual. Owners manuals for Hammond organs are truly truly rare, and this is yet another proof that this organ was probably single owner, and not used much.
I had a nice conversation this morning with Rolf. For those of you know him, it was a typical Rolf conversation. We discussed the Seidh session I mentioned in my journal last week, and he expressed that in Norse tradition sight is definitely a more complex issue than in modern medical practice and theory, as it encompasses a lot more than seeing stuff in the physical. He said a lot about how he'd noticed that my "vision" has gotten a lot more far reaching than most of the people he knows, and that trying to get my physical vision might be a step backward. He also expressed the highly Norse concept that now it was time for my family and other kin to step up to the plate and make sure that I was getting help in the physical department so that I can function as I am abled now.
To that note, I want to thank Meghann for all she's done so far in assisting me in dealing with my handicapped status and in moving forward with my life. You've donemore for me than almost anyone else in trying to help me regain the things that I am not as accessable to since my little stupidity. I also want to thak all those others who have stood by me, never judging, and always being true, no matter what the circumstance. You know who you are.
