nyykiI made a big shopping trip today. One of the major things I was after was footwear. And I think I made some good headway.
I finally managed to get the red pumps I've been looking for for a while. They have a rather extreme heel, so I['m going to have to spend time getting used to them, but this fills a major vacancy in my wardrobe that I've been trying to fill for a while.
The really cool find was at Nordstroms. I managed to find some ankle boots on sale, so that I only wound up spending fourty six bucks on them. This was far less than I'd budgeted for them, so I bought both the black pair and the brown pair.
I did have problems finding some of the other clothes I've been looking for, though, and this has made me realize that I really need a good thrift store crawl really soon. I know an area with several of them in very close proximity, so I guess I need to find some willing accomplices in this endeavor. Since I'm trying to build a wardrobe, I am looking for depth as well as width, and many things are not currently in fashion, yet should be a part of any well stocked clothing resource. Some of this I should be able to find at a thrift store orr four.
So, anyone out there up for a thrift store crawl this month? I'd like to get this done before Nyykmas.
