Honoring Modern Gods for Modern Needs
Feb. 9th, 2005 04:03 pmI'm out with my friend Silver, trying to pick up some things from Fry's. I'm looking specifically for a couple of cables, a cheap video card for my server, and an inexpensive router, plus some microcassettes and a head cleaning tape for my cassette deck. We're searching for a space, and nothing is coming up, so I say,
"Hail great Parkia, mistress of the lots. give us a place to park this noble chariot near the hallowed portals of retail, and we shall pour sodas upon the asphalt in your honor."
right at that point, someone leaves and vacates a parking spot two spaces from the door.
The offering was a Vanilla Coke.
