I've been working in the studio like a crazed person. So far this week, I've completed the tracks to Accountability, Days of Fire, and Beltaine Tango, and  changed and updated the tracks to Kore's Return, Gaia's Kiss, The Pixie Faced Girl, Lughnasah Night, Killdare Lass, Threshold, ABC's, Walking Like the Bear, and Tortuga. All of the basic tracks for the first Gypsy Heir album, Tribe, are done and ready to be output to MP3's for the members to learn. I have I dreamed of You Last Night and Touch The Sun to go, and then all the tracks for the second album, currently titled Days of Fire, will be in place, though I'm still working on the concepts for the instrumental Siddharta. I'm also starting to think through the concept behind the song Pandora's Broomcloset, which I think will be a slow soft tune.

Normally I'm absolutely totally nucking futs by now with this much time at the house, but with the intense musical work I'm doing, I'm managing to keep from losing it and running through the streets painted blue and wearing nothing but orange crepe paper streamers. (No one wants to see that...)

It's as if I had to wait until the semester was done to get any real work done in the studio. The mere fact that I can do any work in there at all is a testament to stable design and a good memory. I built the studio to be minimal in the thinking department when using it so that it could be maximum in the creating department -- nothing as annoying as having to deal with technical details in the throes of a creative session with the muse.

After these two songs are done, I'll probably start working on the fiction again. Something to do, and the to do list is shrinking fast.

I am, however, stumped on one story, and I need someone to run a scenario by. I'm thinking of posting it to my journal and seeing how that goes, but I rarely get responses here, so I don't know if I'd get any feedback on it.

Well, off to dinner with the roommate. It's her birthday today, so I'm going to take here somewhere to get whatever she wants.
