person who will watch out for your interests and defend your honor against those who would oppose you. And though some people are lucky enough to have them fall into their lap, (Literally in some cases) the rest of us need to search carefully and be very selective in whom we choose to fill this role.
A Pit Bull needs to have several specific qualities. Foremost is aggression. A good pit bull needs to have the ability to aggressively attack your foes and detractors. This needs to be backed up with combat Prowess -- either physical training or a way with words-- as Verbal skills or written acumen -- is required to be effective.
In choosing a Pit Bull, remember the following. First off, they need to be respected on both sides of the argument. This credibility makes their defense of you seem completely just. Next, they need the afore- mentioned skill. Select someone who is a martial arts instructor, ex-military, captain of their debate team, or a scathing writer are all very solid choices, but remember to pick the venue -- a scathing writer is not the choice for a physical confrontation, and the Ex-Navy Seal is not going to be much help on the Internet.
