In lab today we took our Blood Pressure. This is a big deal for me, since it's what cost me my sight and kidney function.

Mine was 127/67, with a pulse of 51. The drugs are obviously working well.

However, one of the lab assistants had a BP of 197/147. We told her to hual her arse to the doctor right now, calmly, and get this dealt with. She was scared when I told her that it was what cost me my sight. Hopefully she'll take it seriously and get it dealt with.

My brother had one of 167/140 with a really bad, non-stop nose bleed. By the time I got him into ER, it was 205/190. He had an anyurism in his sinus behind his eye. Any further up and he'd have stroked and died. The only reason he lived was due to the weakness in his sinus veins.

Tell the lab assistant to definitely get her ass in to get checked. Hell, mine's running 140/90 and I get worried. My BP is due, however, to pain levels; or so they tell me.
