Fun in my Learning and Cognition Class
Sep. 9th, 2009 06:36 pmSo, for our lab we have to get in groups of three, pick a movie, and then find places where what we studied is shown in the movie.
I suggested The Princess Bride. My group agreed it would be a good option.
This is going to be very easy.
Classical Conditioning: "There's always a popping sound before the fire spurt, so now we can avoid that..."
Cognitive Dissonance: "Inconceivable!"
Memory: "You'd think this, unless you studied Agrippa... Which I have."
Attention: "All your ships except your fastest one, right?"
And of course, Rote repitition: "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
This should be a lot of fun.
