1. Comment to this post with "I surrender!" and I'll assign you the basis of some TV show idea. (Science fiction
show, medical drama, criminal procedure,
etc...)
2. Create a cast of characters, including the actors who'd play them
3. Add in any actor photos, character bios and show synopsis that you want.
4. Post to your own journal.

Since [livejournal.com profile] prodigal is evil, (I hate Police Procedurals, I give you my contribution to the story options.

Quantum Leap: SCD (Special Crimes Division) is the product of further research in Dr. Sam Beckett's original
research. But now that the procedure is better worked out to leap, Lt. James Dobson (Christopher Judge, sans gold
forehead ornament) is leaping to solve crimes in different situations. Much of the time he's landing in the body of
the victim. They're not all murders, so often he finds some interesting things, like missing persons and where they
went to. Guest stars include Judge Crater, (Nicolas Cage) Amelia Earhart, (Summer Glau) John Dillinger, (Leonardo
Dicaprio) and Ambrose Bierce. (Brad Pitt) A long mid-season arc finds him in the body of Mata Hari, (Jewel State)
investigating several crimes. His liaison is, of course, Al. (Dean Stockwell, of course) Other team members that
provide information are Sandy Finn, (Kaytee Sackoff) and Marty Houser. (Bill Mumy) His commanding officer, Captain
Chloe Draganskie (Teryl Rothry) also pops in when he's taking too long to figure out what's going on. As Jim works
his way through the crimes he's landing in he starts to run into an adversary, who is known only as The Queen of the West. (Linda Park) The Queen is muddying his investigations for some reason, and Jim isn't happy about this. He
eventually hopes to leap into his own missing father's body to find out what happened one dark July night when he
vanished without a trace. Some X-Files aspects creep in as the show develops, and Jim isn't limited to when and
where he could land -- 1920 one leap, 2010 the next, and the next leap he's looking into something in the
Peloponnesian war. The first season cliffhanger has him leaping into his own body some twenty five years later to solve his own murder and possibly, for once, prevent it.

I hit you with that because I was sure you'd come up with an interesting twist. And I was right. Good work!
