Hey, all you pagan folks and others who follow other paths, I need a bit of assistance.
I've started work on a long postponed project, "Project Lessons in Ritual Design," an instructive book on creating effective rituals. To that end I could use a bit of info.
1. If someone could provide me with the standard parts of a ritual in Ceremonial Magick, Hellenismos, Strega, Egyptian Practice, etc. I'd appreciate it. I need to know what elements need to be included in a ritual of this type as a function of its place in the culture. To give you an example, for Wiccan I have the following: Casting the sacred circle, invoking watchtowers and other forces including deities, main body of the ritual, cakes & ale/sacrifice, closing the ritual. Something on that level would be fine.

Second, if anyone knows of any good books that have effective rituals in them, other than Janice's Broch's book and Ed Fich's works, I could use them. What I need is the title, author(s), and a short (200 words or less, less is better) discription of the contents. A note as to if the rituals are modular or unified in design would also be appreciated. I'm building a suggested reading list, so this will help immensely.
Thanks
