Well. It seems the flood nyyki with water system has borne fruit. Creatinine: 1.1
A1C: 5.8
Everything else came out in the normal range. We're going to schedule a surgical session to tie off this dialysis access so my left arm is usable for blood pressure and sticks again, and it won't have fluid issues that make it swell up. I'm now down to clinic visits every two weeks. We've got things in place so I can start emailing in my weekly weigh-in, twice daily temp and Blood Pressure, and thrice daily blood stick.
He was amazed. He told me that of the folks he's transplanted this year mine was the one that has the most delicate taste for processes, but we're getting a handle on it. The electrolytes are fine too, so no need to supplement things with sugar free sports drinks. (though I might do so for some variety from time to time)
I got to ask him a lot of questions, including the big one. Either today or tomorrow I'll call the transgender support center to start the dialogue about when we can get me in to do top and bottom surgery this year. I know it's a bit more of a set of hoops dealing with medicare, so I want to get that moving as soon as possible. I also want to get to the courthouse to file for a formal name change and jettison my dead name for once and for all.
This was a very important meeting with a chain of good results. And it opens up things for more to come.
When I met with the transplant center's chief nephrologist back in 2019 he asked me about my transition and if that was going to affect getting a transplant. I told him, "Here in Texas we deal with the venomous snakes before we worry about the cactus." I had to of course explain that End Stage Kidney Disease can kill someone just like snake venom can, while gender stuff is something to try not to bump up against. Well, we dealt with the snakes starting on April 13, and we 've got them restrained, so it's time to move on to the cactus. And I'll keep y'all updated on how things go in clearing that field for future cultivation.

Yay for finding the equilibrium point. Now of course the challenge is staying on that balance beam, but you're great with processes!
