Messing With Lyrics

nyykiIt's called a "piggyback" song in some circles, contra facta in music history classes, and swept under the label of filk by the fantasy/science fiction and adjacent crowds.
I see him, as he passes by and the view of his butt starts to tingle my thigh. Oh baby please let's go have some fun, 'cause girls, they love some hot buns, some girls love a man with hot buns.
Word of warning, I'm stopping at this point because I figure y'all have the idea, but if pestered about it by more than one or two people I very much can do the whole lyrics. And for those who missed what I'm using, it's the song "Girls Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper.

Date: 2024-08-09 04:34 am (UTC)I like the way "Girls, want guys with hot buns" because it fits into the rhythm in nice ways. And note -- this wasn't about Dixie in any way, which is rare for these types of songs coming from me in the last couple of years.
