Gender Labels
Feb. 15th, 2001 11:18 amAt http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?itemid=1757139 there is a discussion of the labels used at LiveJournal to assign gender. Seems that someone has gotten LJ to increase the options.
I think this is a good Idea, but I am concerned that some of the labels don't have obvious meanings and will confuse the "normal" people out there. (As if there is anything normal about publishing your journal on the web for all to see...)
Of course, Androgynes confuse normal people all the time, but I'd like to not make it any harder on them than I have to, as some of them like to take it out on me.
Still no word on the job, though I am a bit impatient. Bills are looming....
And yesterday was not too bad a day, all in all. Didn't get to give the s/o anything, and she didn't have the money to do so either, but we did spend some time together. I got one valentine from a friend. Nice and low key.
