TiVo doesn't make a talking TiVo box. I just called them to find out, and they got nothin'. They're marginalizing the entire blind community by not having talking menus in their machines, as menyu driven systems on something like a TiVo box are far too complex to use the memorization route.

Razzlefrat. That's the one thing preventing me from getting digital cable and having Bravo again. I love Inside the Actor's Studio, and I also like the West Wing reruns. But I'll have no way to tape them, as cable boxes and VCR's are a flaky combination most of the time.

I put in a suggestion for them to make one, but we'll see how far that goes.
