Random Act of Kindness

Here's how it works. Go to Amazon and look up your favorite book, movie, CD, or whatever else they sell. Find someone who commented on it that you like their comment. Make sure it's someone you don't know. Follow their information to their wishlist, and pick an item on it you can afford. Buy it and send it to them. (Check to make sure they have an address on file) Send this as the note:

This is a random act of kindness. Hope you enjoy it. Feel free, if you enjoy it, to go to Amazon and do the same. "

Or something similar. Just let them know it was random, that you found them by searching through Amazon, and put a bug into their mind to do it themselves if they can.

By doing this you'll make someone's day as they get something totally random out of the blue from someone they don't even know. I'm not trying to imply that it'll make the world a better place, but it's amazing how often these things show up right when someone is having a bad day.
