Milestone

I'm .2 pounds below the goal I set for this year. I had a slight stall for last week, (a slight upswing from eating out two extra times that week, though I developed a new strategy for a pizza buffet from it) but I'm past that mark now, and I'm doing it without my treadmill because it's still non-functioning. (I've tried to give it away on Freecycle, but no takers so far)
I just finished my annual re-reading of Illusions, by Richard Bach. If you haven't read it yet, I strongly suggest you do so. It's a read of a couple of hours and a companion of a lifetime.
Oh, the pizza strategy? Grab a salad, as pizza places always have salad. Then slide the toppings off into your salad. This keeps all those carbs from the crust out of your diet, and you get the flavors you really want.
