Some things has lingering effects that can last for years. Couple this with the harvest effect and things can start to finally look up after years when harvest time comes around.
It's taken me a while here -- About two and a third years, but I think I'm finally starting to feel happy with the world around me again. I'm listening to the radio more again, (KKXT, which reminds me of the early days of KDGE before Joel Folger ruined it just like he did with so many other radio stations in the local area) and I'm also starting to work on some different types of music. The exemptions for the house and my reevaluation of he property value are taken care of, and so I'm finally not scraping by right now. I'm keeping busy, and enjoying life more. And I'm also getting rid of weight I no longer want. So life is looking up, and for the first time in a long while I'm feeling it.
I heard an interesting idea this morning on one of my blind radio programs. The late great Paul Krume wrote in one of his columns, "you can reach farther than you think, but you can't reach farther than your dreams." I thought that made the point very well.
