Because I learn from what others go through, and there is no way I want to go through what <user name=Pippi_Bomstalking>is dealing with, I went in for a mammogram today. It hasn't gotten any less unpleasant than the time long ago when I had one done, though this one at least had more breast tissue to use so it didn't feel quite as much like they were trying to rip my chest epidermis from my body. They also scanned the lymph nodes too.

All clear. And this reminded me how much I want to get to the courthouse to file for a court date to get my name changed and get that dead name off my medical stuff, along with everything else.

In other great news, a friend who does insurance for medicare Advantage and Supplemental plans found a surgeon who does GAS surgery and takes both medicare and my advantage insurance. In Houston. So first I want to find where his office is and where he does his surgeries, and second find friends down there who could visit me and maybe provide a bit of crash space between surgery and the close in postsurgical check-ups.

Good the news is. Pleased I am.
