Olive Garden

nyykiWell, I managed to make it to Olive Garden last night for their annual "Neverending Pasta Bowl" promotion, and I feel like such a wimp. Due to the rather poor service and the way the meal played out, I only ate one bowl of pasta, which was a bummer, because I was looking forward to trying another sauce on their list.
The roommate decided she wanted a second bowl of soup, so I found myself waiting while she ate that, which meant I ate more breadsticks than I would have hadthe server actually checked with me to see if I'd like my entree out while my roommate was lounging in the appetizer section. Service was also really off. The guy seemed either really new or really clueless or really stoned.
Normally, I get pretty good service at Olive Garden, but last night was rather dissapointing. I'll probably go back during this promotion, but if I get the same waiter, I'll definitely give him more direction. And I won't waste room with soup next time, either.
