Okay, they win

On the positive side, my insulin injectors can handle room temprature settings after the vial has been accessed. This means that I won't have to carry around a cold pack with them. The needles are also easy to deal with, and they have a double cover.

On the negative side, the insulin injectors are not small. When I have to transport one, I'm going to have to carry a bag with me. I've fought the purse for a while, but it looks to be inevitable, at least when I have to take insulin dosages with me.

Ah, well. one more thing to keep track of.

Well, I have gotten by with a waist pack for a long time. It has pouches for everything I need -- Talking compass, spare batteries, phone, keys, pill box, fetishes, earplugs, and the Palm Pilot I can't use anymore. The problem with a purse is that once you start carrying it, then there are all kinds of other stuff that you can put in it, and next thing you know, you're carrying one of those uber-totes that Michelle Pfiffer was carting around in One Fine Day, you know, the ones that can double as accomidations on a backpacking trip.

I don't want to get started on that trend. But I have to carry this insulin delivery system around from time to time, so I'll just have to deal, and fight the trend to ever increasing handbags.
