I love that movie. It is rarely a bust out laughing film, but the situations are just right for one of a twisted sense of humor.

One of the things I love about it is the way they talk. It's precise, and uses standard english idioms, but transmuted into different words so that it becomes somewhat unfamiliar. I was thinking about  a fight between Beldaar and his daughter Connie, where she raises her voice and he says, "Maintain low tones." I find that far more compact and efficient than the standard "Don't raise your voice to me young lady."

Just musing on film today, and that popped out. I'd love to be walking in a mall where some parent and their child was arguing and hear the parent say that.
